Top-Tier Gaming Trailer Services to Ignite Your Launch

Pixel Studios produces game trailer services built around the emotional argument the trailer needs to make, and then backwards into the footage, animation, and editing choices that deliver it. We produce cinematic game trailers, gameplay trailers, launch trailers, mobile game trailers, Steam videos, and the announcement content that creates anticipation before the game exists. Every trailer begins with a creative brief that asks what the viewer should feel at the end, not what the viewer should have seen.

OUR SERVICES

Full-Spectrum Game Trailer Services

Every trailer type serves a specific moment in a game's commercial lifecycle. Here is what we build and when each one belongs in the marketing plan.

Game Cinematic Trailers

Cinematic game trailers that establish a game's world, stakes, and emotional territory for an audience encountering it for the first time. Animation, visual effects, and score synchronized to create the feeling of a world worth entering. Used for announcements, awards season reveals, and the headline marketing moments that define a game's first impression in market.

What Makes Us Different?

Most game trailer studios produce technically accomplished videos. The ones worth hiring produce a video that changes what the viewer does next. The distinction is in the creative brief. We spend more time on the brief than most studios spend on the production plan, because the brief is where the trailer is either won or lost. What does the viewer need to feel? What does the viewer need to believe? What does the viewer need to do? Answer those questions specifically, and the editorial, animation, and sound design choices that serve them become obvious. Skip those questions and produce a beautiful failure.

We also sign NDAs before briefing conversations begin, work remotely with studios on every continent, and treat a launch date as a hard constraint rather than a planning assumption. If the trailer is not ready when the store page goes live, the launch is not ready. We have never been the reason a launch was not ready.

Client Success Stories

Jeffery Menendez

Jeffery Menendez

Game Studio Marketing Director

We gave Pixel Studios our announcement brief with a six-week window and a creative direction that we were not confident we could execute ourselves. They delivered a cinematic reveal that our community cited as the single piece of content that made them commit to wishlisting. The Steam wishlist count doubled in the 48 hours after the reveal trailer dropped. That is not analytics. That is the trailer working.

Hazel Martinez

Hazel Martinez

Mobile Game Publisher

We had launched two previous mobile games with trailers produced in-house. Neither converted in the app store at a rate that justified the media spend. Pixel Studios rebuilt our creative approach from the brief up. The third game launched with its trailer, and our cost per install dropped by 44% in the first campaign month. The creative was different. The results were different.

Stephanie Brown

Stephanie Brown

Game Production Manager

Our game had six weeks between gold master and launch. We needed a launch trailer, a Steam store video, a 30-second paid social cut, and a 15-second YouTube pre-roll cut. All from the same brief. Pixel Studios delivered every format on time, to spec, and at a visual quality we could not have achieved internally on that timeline.

Cassie Smith

Cassie Smith

Founder, Indie Game Studio

Our Kickstarter campaign exceeded its funding goal by 312%. The trailer was the primary cited factor in backer feedback. Pixel Studios asked us what we wanted the backer to believe about the game after watching the trailer. Nobody had asked us that question before. The answer to that question was the trailer.

User Acquisition Lead, Mobile Games

We tested our existing trailer against the Pixel Studios version in parallel app store A/B tests. Their version produced 2.7x the install rate at the same cost per impression. The brief was the same. The approach to answering the brief was completely different.

TRAILER TYPES

Use Cases and Trailer Types We Cover

The trailer type is determined by the moment in the game's commercial lifecycle and the specific emotional job the trailer needs to do.

Cinematic Reveal

Cinematic Reveal

The first public appearance of a game. Usually animation-led or heavily VFX-supported. The job is to create a world and an emotional stake in it before the viewer knows what the gameplay is.

Gameplay Highlight

Gameplay Highlight

Gameplay footage edited to the best session of the best player who ever played it, with sound design and score that make the mechanics feel as satisfying as the best moment of play.

Announcement Teaser

Announcement Teaser

15 to 30 seconds. The only job is to create a question that the viewer needs the answer to. Teasers that over-explain have already failed.

Story and Lore Trailers

Story and Lore Trailers

Narrative-focused trailers for games with a story the audience needs to care about before they evaluate the gameplay. Character, world, and stakes delivered without spoiling the resolution.

Launch Trailers

Launch Trailers

Release-day content for the audience that has been watching since the announcement. The launch trailer confirms the promise the announcement made. It does not need to be introduced. It needs to close.

Mobile Game Trailers

Mobile Game Trailers

User acquisition-optimized video for app store pages, Meta campaigns, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Hook in the first two seconds. Conversion objective visible by the second five. Everything else is retention.

HOW WE WORK

Our Trailer
Production Process

Every game trailer follows a structured production workflow, from creative discovery and story development to gameplay capture, motion graphics, sound design, and platform-specific delivery. Each stage is planned to maximize audience engagement while ensuring the trailer supports the game's marketing and commercial objectives.

Creative Brief and Discovery

Creative Brief and Discovery

We establish what the viewer needs to feel at the end of the trailer before we establish what they will see during it. The emotional objective drives every subsequent creative and technical decision.

Why Choose Us

Why Choose Pixel Studios for Game Trailer Production?

Because we start with the brief that most trailer studios skip. Who is the viewer, and what does the trailer need to change about what they think, feel, or plan to do? That question has a specific answer for every game and every moment in its commercial lifecycle. The trailer that answers it correctly generates wishlists, purchases, and the organic sharing that no media budget can replicate. The trailer that does not answer it correctly is an expensive video that documents the features of a game the viewer has already decided not to buy.

We have produced trailers for games that went on to be funded on Kickstarter, launched on Steam, approved for publisher deals, and featured on platform storefronts. Every trailer was delivered before its deadline. Every client received the format they needed for their submission or launch date. We track that record because trailer production is a deadline business, and studios that miss deadlines in this context miss launches.
